About Us

Our pediatric health care providers are dedicated to providing high quality health care for Adams County children. Established in 1978, we operate under the philosophy that, “every child deserves health care...”.

CHS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created specifically to meet the needs of children ages birth to 21 who otherwise could not afford health care.  CHS is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
CHS provides year-round pediatric and adolescent health care services to children birth to 21 at the following  Community clinics:
  • Commerce City
  • Baker

CHS also provides school-based health care.  School-based health centers bring the doctor's office to the schools so students avoid health-related absences and get support to succeed in the classroom.  Services are designed to identify problems early, provide continuity of care, and improve academic success.

CHS manages four school-based health clinics that provide health services to students currently enrolled in the following schools:
  • Adams City High School
  • Lester Arnold High School
  • Adams City Middle School
  • Kearney Middle School
